Exhaustion.
We’ve all been there. Your brain is feeling fuzzy and your mind is not functioning at the level it should be because you’re feeling drained. It stings, doesn’t it? Well, one of the worst things you can do for yourself is to try to fight it.
Instead, consider embracing your tiredness and give in to what your body is asking for.
A well-deserved break.

How can you do this?
Give Yourself a Break
It’s time. Sleep is the ultimate body recharger, so make sure you’re getting enough of it every night.
Stretch
Stretching for five minutes every few days can make a real difference and help to avoid future injury due to stressed, tight muscles.
Warm Bath
Nothing says r e l a x like a warm bath. So, get yourself a bubbly bath bomb or Epsom salts to improve muscle function, reduce stress-related inflammation, and remove toxins from your body.
Modify Your Diet
Our energy levels are connected to our diet. If you maintain a healthy, balanced diet, you’re bound to feel more energized and ready to take on the day rather than sluggish. Give your body the right fuel you need. Even if you live a busy lifestyle, you can always meal prep!
Aromatherapy
It’s been proven that scents such as lavender can help with stress. Invest in a nice essential oil diffuser that you can start up when you feel that ball of stress tightening in your chest.
Spend Time With Family and Friends
Surround yourself with supportive people who are filled with positive energy. Avoid anyone who is not helping you at this time. Your health is more important.
“Me Time”
When you’re feeling drained, take a break to do something that makes you happy. Whether it’s taking a stroll outside, playing with your pet, enjoying a nice cup of tea, or re-watching your favourite TV series—do something nice for yourself.
Avoid Multitasking
Focus on one task at a time. Trying to complete many tasks all at once can be overwhelming, which leads to an increase in stress… which you don’t need. Plus, you’re more prone to making mistakes as you multitask.
Let Go Of Past Mistakes
You can’t fix them. All you can do now is learn from them and move on. There are much more important, positive things to focus on.
Sometimes the best way to beat exhaustion is to embrace it temporarily. If your body is telling you it’s to rest, then it’s worth listening to.
